2-DIN radio frame with pocket + HU i-Dapter connector kit – Skoda / VW

The professional ACV installation kit allows you to easily replace the factory head unit with a double-DIN radio in select Skoda and Volkswagen models. The kit includes all the components needed for installation – a double-DIN frame, a mounting bracket, an antenna adapter, and an i-Dapter interface compatible with your vehicle's installation.

The kit has been designed to retain as many factory functions as possible, such as steering wheel controls (SWC), parking sensor visualization (OPS) and compatibility with a reversing camera*.

Comments:

• Not all vehicle functions need to be supported (e.g. Trailer Assist, E-Call, assistance systems).

• Re-imported vehicles or vehicles with different software may require additional verification.

• Not compatible with MOST system / some OEM amplifiers.

Reversing camera support

Assembly Instructions - Summary

1. Check factory radio functions and vehicle settings.

2. Disconnect the factory HU and verify all connectors.

3. Connect the interface and HU cables according to the instructions.

4. Configure the i-dapter (DIP switch) and settings of the new HU.

5. Perform a functional test of the SWC, OPS, camera, antenna and other functions.

6. In case of problems - restore OEM HU, disable CAN, configure again.

Note: Installation and alterations to the installation should only be performed by a professional installer.
