Adapter for BMW MGU, HSD+2 reversing camera – take care of your car's equipment today!

Maintaining the proper distance behind the car is particularly difficult when reversing. Due to the size of the car, we can feel the effects if we hit an object behind it while parking. However, avoiding this problem is much simpler than it seems. The BMW MGU, HSD+2 rearview camera adapter allows us to connect the camera to the factory-installed radio, allowing us to retain the original equipment.

The interface adds a rearview camera to your car and displays the image on your original car radio (which must be prepared for this). Some adapters are plug-and-play solutions, while others require connecting cables or other modifications. Please read the installation instructions beforehand or contact us with any questions.

The v.LiNK interface allows you to connect a rear view camera, front camera and another video source (e.g. USB player, DVB-T2 tuner, ...) to the vehicle manufacturer's factory infotainment system.

• BMW F-Series and G-Series models with MGU (new main menu + new iDrive + LCI or new F/G series from 2019)

Navigation: 

S609A Professional Navigation, S6UPA Navigation Plus or Live Cockpit Professional S6U3A
Harman MGU head unit with 10.25 or 12.3-inch monitor only

Not compatible with MGUs with an 8.8″ monitor, e.g. 1er F40 with Live Cockpit Plus S6U2A.
Not compatible with Alpine MGUs with a 10.25″ monitor, e.g. 2 Series Gran Tourer F44 with Live Cockpit Professional S6U3A.
Since 2019, BMW has been gradually converting vehicles from NBT2 to MGUs. Visually, NBT2 is difficult to distinguish from MGUs. Please send us your Vehicle Identification Number in advance for verification when inquiring.

Comments:

The driver must not be distracted directly or indirectly by moving images while driving. This is prohibited by law in most countries/states. Other than operation when stationary, this product is only intended to display menus in a standing position (e.g., MP3 menus from DVD players) or rearview camera images while driving.
