Are you worried about hitting another vehicle or a pole and damaging your car when reversing or parking? A rearview camera is certainly a good solution, as it allows you to see the rear view of your car on the monitor in the cockpit. However, you'll need the appropriate accessories to connect the camera to the screen.

How does the rear camera adapter work?

Our reversing camera adapter is designed for Toyota and Lexus vehicles with MFD GEN5 multimedia displays. Installation is very quick and requires no interference with or damage to the original wiring. The reversing camera image is automatically displayed on the screen when reversing.

A rearview camera is a feature that a growing number of car owners are using. It allows the driver to monitor the situation behind the vehicle on the screen, while reversing or parking. This gives them a better view of cars behind them and the location of blind spots, such as trees or posts. However, connecting the rearview camera to the monitor requires a special adapter, which can be purchased at car-tronic.pl.

The adapter can be easily installed using the Plug & Play function, which does not require any interference with the vehicle's original wiring.

The image from the rearview camera will automatically be displayed on the screen when reversing. The device is connected to a 28-pin socket (as shown in the wiring diagram ). Once connected, all factory functions that operate using this socket are retained due to the type.

Note!  An additionally installed rearview camera must be powered from the ACC line (first key turn), otherwise the camera input will not be active. Depending on the type of camera being connected, namely the voltage required for the camera, you can use the +6V input voltage generated by the monitor. If the camera requires more than 6V, connect the camera's power supply to the ACC line.
