The Alpine DVR-F790 Network Dash Cam with Dock is an excellent choice for drivers who value high-quality 1080p video recording and frequently travel to countries where dashcams are not permitted (e.g., Austria). The DVR-F790 simply detaches from the dock with a single press of a button, leaving the dock and its cables in place against the windshield.

When paired with a smartphone, your vehicle's Wi-Fi network, or a pocket Wi-Fi router, a dash cam can store recorded footage in the cloud, where you can download and review videos on your smartphone at any time. You can even watch live video from the dash cam and see your vehicle's location on a digital map.

Parking mode automatically activates when the ignition is turned off and records footage when motion or an impact is detected, so you have footage confirming a hit-and-run even when you're away from your vehicle. You can even activate push notifications on your smartphone to receive alerts if an impact greater than 3G is detected.
