Bassface Indy S – a subwoofer designed from scratch in the UK

Introducing the Bassface Indy S – the first in a new generation of product lines designed at Bassface's UK facility by a new engineering team. Developed entirely from scratch , no part of the Indy S has been adopted from previous models. The goal was to create a subwoofer offering the best possible reliability, durability, and exceptional performance in its price range.

The process involved developing numerous prototypes, making extensive modifications, and subjecting the design to rigorous stress testing. This ensures the Indy S is capable of withstanding long hours of high-power operation and maintaining stable performance at high cone excursions.

The Indy S concept envisioned creating a versatile subwoofer that would perform well in a wide range of enclosures—both sealed and bass-reflex. The parameters and mechanical components were optimized to ensure the subwoofer offered high efficiency, control, and solid bass regardless of the application.
