Maintaining the proper distance behind the car is particularly difficult when reversing. Due to the size of the car, we can feel the effects if we hit an object behind it while parking. However, avoiding this problem is much simpler than it seems. The VW and Seat MIB2 Entry 6.5 rearview camera adapter allows us to connect the camera to the factory-installed radio, allowing us to retain the original equipment.

The interface adds a rearview camera to your car and displays the image on your original car radio (which must be prepared for this). Some adapters are plug-and-play solutions, while others require connecting cables or other modifications. Please read the installation instructions beforehand or contact us with any questions.

• Limitations:
• Video only : The interface ONLY transmits video signals to the infotainment system. The factory AUX audio input or FM modulator can be used to transmit audio signals. If 2 AV sources are connected, the CAB-FV-AUDIO audio cable is optionally available for audio switching.
• Factory rearview camera: Automatically switches to RVC only when reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay downshifts.
• The interface is mounted on the monitor board (to do this, you must open the monitor!).
