The SMEG(+) interface for connecting a rearview camera in Citroen and Peugeot cars is a useful accessory that can also be paired with two other video sources. By installing this device, you can also play files from a USB stick or a DVB-T tuner.

This model automatically activates the camera when reverse gear is engaged, and distance guides for the rearview camera can be activated. The device is equipped with PAL and NTSC-compatible video inputs. Designed with the latest technology in mind, the device ensures durability and a host of modern features.

Reversing camera interface and compatibility.
The device is compatible with Citroën and Peugeot vehicles. The full list of vehicles is below. If you own one of these models, the interface will work properly. Compatible with SMEG, SMEG+, DS Connect, and Nav Touch navigation systems.

The r.LiNK interface allows you to connect a rear view camera and any two video sources (e.g. USB player, DVB-T2 tuner, …) to the factory infotainment system.

Limitations 

Video only - The interface does NOT provide audio signals. You can use the existing factory AUX audio input or an FM modulator to provide audio signals. When connecting two AV sources, additional audio switching electronics are required.

If the video interface does not receive the required information from the vehicle's CAN bus, the reversing line cannot be used.
