Description
Worm clamp

The worm drive clamp is made of a wide steel strip with a galvanized (aluminum-zinc) coating. It is used to secure flexible rubber, PVC, and other round hoses to inlet and outlet connections. The tape has rounded edges to protect the hose from damage. The clamp screw has a hexagonal head with a straight or cross recess. Asymmetrically embossed teeth on the tape, in conjunction with the screw, ensure the clamp rotates in the direction of the torque.
