The steering wheel adapter allows you to retain remote control functionality after replacing the factory radio with a retrofitted head unit. The device works with the CAN bus and ensures compatibility with OEM systems in select Audi and Seat Exeo models.

Assembly instructions – short:

1. Compare the adapter connectors to the connectors in your vehicle.

2. Disconnect the factory HU unit from the power supply.

3. Check all connections for correctness with the power off.

4. Connect the adapter according to the instructions of the HU being modernized.

5. Connect all remaining wires and connectors.

6. Connect the main adapter connector last.

7. Configure the retrofit device software.

8. Test the operation of the steering wheel controls and other vehicle functions.
