Description

A parking sensor is a device that aids in parking and reversing a vehicle. It operates on the principle of sonar—it emits ultrasonic waves that, when reflected from an obstacle, allow the vehicle to determine the distance between itself and the obstacle. When reversing, the device accurately detects obstacles in the vehicle's path and warns the driver with an audible signal.

 

The LED display indicates the distance to obstacles with an accuracy of tenths of a meter. It also has a built-in loudspeaker (buzzer) that can be muted completely using a switch on the housing.

"GOLD" sensors are smaller than the standard version and feature a sealed cable connector, allowing them to be disconnected from the vehicle's wiring in the event of bumper removal or damage. They are also equipped with metal clips that ensure a secure hold of the sensors in the bumper.
