Description

The RL4-MZD88 interfaces the rearview camera and two other video sources. Compatible with Mazda vehicles from 2019 with MZD Connect and an 8.8-inch ultra-wide color display.

The r.LiNK interface allows you to connect a rear view camera, an automatic front camera and two other video sources (e.g. USB player, DVB-T2 tuner, ...) to the vehicle manufacturer's infotainment system.

Limitations

• Video only: The interface does NOT transmit any audio signals. The existing factory AUX audio input or FM modulator can be used to power the audio signals. If 2 AV sources are connected, additional electronics are required for audio switching.
• Factory Rearview Camera: Automatically switches to RFK only as long as reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay downshifts.
• Aftermarket Front Camera: Switches to the front camera automatically after disengaging reverse gear for 10 seconds. Manual switching to the front camera is also possible using a button.
• Distance Lines: Distance line display does not work on all vehicles.

NOTE: The interface is built into the monitor board (the monitor must be opened for this purpose)!
