Mazda steering wheel adapter

The steering wheel adapter allows you to retain your original steering wheel control functions when replacing your factory radio with a new head unit (HU).
It ensures full integration of your new multimedia head unit without losing steering wheel control.

📌 Features and Notes

• Retains Steering Wheel Control (SWC) functionality.

• Depending on the vehicle equipment and the software of the new head unit, some functions may not be available or may be replaced.

• Temperature display and date/time settings are not supported.

• Fader settings on CAN bus vehicles are not supported.

• Before installation, compare the adapter connectors with the original connectors in the vehicle.

• Before final installation, test the system for proper operation.

• SWC - Steering Wheel Control

• Pink - Speed ​​Pulse Signal

• Green - GND parking brake signal

• Blue/White - +12V Remote Amplifier

⚠ Note: Vehicles with different software may have incompatible features.

🔧 Installation - step by step

1. Verification:

• Check all functions of the original HU and vehicle settings.

• Disconnect the original HU from the power supply.

• Check the correctness of the connections in a voltage-free state.

2. Connecting:

• Verify the adapter configuration in a de-energized state.

• Check the HU connection cable configuration.

• Connect the HU cable according to the instructions of the HU being retrofitted.

• Connect all other wires according to the instructions.

• Connect the main connector at the end of the installation.

• Configure the adapter according to the manufacturer's instructions.

• Configure a new HU.

• Perform SWC and vehicle function test.

3. Configuration changes:

• Perform in a state of no tension.

• Reconnect following the steps above.

4. In case of problems:

• Reinstall the original HU.

• Start the HU and disable the CAN bus.

• Check the adapter hardware configuration.

• Reconnect the adapter and HU.

• Connections and modifications may only be made by a trained installer.

• All changes must comply with the vehicle wiring diagram.

• Modifications may void the product and vehicle manufacturer's warranty.
